Phoenix police are investigating a fatal hit and run crash.  Sergeant Trent Crump with Phoenix police says a car was racing down the street when it lost control and swerved into a pedestrian walking along the sidewalk and then barreled into trees, a light pole and an apartment building.  The driver got out of his car unharmed and

took off on foot.  The pedestrian was pronounced deceased on scene. Witnesses say the car was going about 100 miles per hour when it lost control.  Crump says it’s obvious speed was a factor, but can’t confirm how fast he was going.  The driver remains at large and police are checking the car registration to locate the suspect. He is described as a Hispanic man, about five-nine.  Anyone with information is asked to call Phoenix police.
