f accedentA Bullhead City man who was airlifted to a Las Vegas hospital has died as a result of his injuries suffered from a recent motor vehicle accident.      On July 23rd at around 8 p.m., emergency crews responded to a ‘T-bone’ type collision at Highway 95 and Hancock Road.   A 17-year-old female was driving a white Chevy pick-up truck northbound on Highway 95. She said that she tried to apply her brakes when she saw the red light, but her vehicle would not slow down in time. She entered the intersection and struck a red Mitsubishi Outlander SUV.  The driver of the red SUV, Alice Hart, 74 of Cedar City, UT and her son, Gary Ronald Hart, 54, were both flown to Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas, NV. Gary Hart died as a result of his injuries on August 4th, 2014. Alice Hart remains at Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas.  The 17-year-old female was not injured. She was cited and released for failure to control speed.
The accident is still under investigation.
