A motorcyclist
is dead after colliding with a car on a Scottsdale street Monday morning.
Officer Pete Salazar says the victim was heading eastbound on East Frank Lloyd
Wright Blvd.  when he was hit by a
Cadillac S-U-V turning left, or westbound onto a private driveway at about 6:20
a.m.

Salazar says
the impact sent the motorcyclist 600 feet before he came to rest on the
pavement.

Police have
not yet released the identity of the 28 year old motorcyclist, who was wearing
a helmet.  But police say speed on his
part is a factor in the crash.
