This arrest resulted after police contacted two subjects inside a motorhome in reference to camping on commercial private property in the dirt lot near Rhoades Avenue and Townsend Street. Officers observed a motorcycle parked near the motorhome which matched the description of a motor vehicle theft and vehicle burglary reported May 18 from a hotel in the 2900 block of East Andy Devine Avenue. Officers made contact with a male subject, identified as Pelfrey, who was in possession of a key to the motorcycle which was confirmed to be stolen. Pelfrey was taken into custody, and found to be in possession of marijuana. The second subject was a 25 year old Kingman female who was ultimately released from the scene. A search warrant was executed on the motorhome which resulted in locating drug paraphernalia and numerous items which were reported stolen during the vehicle burglary. Pelfrey was subsequently charged and booked into the Mohave County Jail without incident.
