The Northern Arizona Consolidated Fire District handled a small brush fire in north Kingman on Wednesday, May 24. Personnel responded at 2:47 p.m. to the fire that burned along a fence line in the vicinity of the intersection of Butler Avenue and Sierra Vista.

The fire was quickly brought under control.

“Cause of the fire was determined suspicious with evidence located on scene indicating that this fire was intentionally set,” a news release stated. “The MCSO was contacted to assist in the investigation.”

No structures were damaged and no injuries were reported.
