A Bullhead City home was damaged in a garage fire on Sunday, June 18. Fire Department personnel responded at 1:27 p.m. to the incident in the 800 block of Sandy Beach Drive.
“Arriving units found heavy fire involvement coming from the rear of the structure and heavy smoke coming from the side gable vent,” a news release said. It took crews nine minutes to gain control of the fire.
A partially downed power line required attention and MEC and Southwest Gas personnel secured the utilities on-scene. No one was injured and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
