On October 1, 2015, at approximately 8:40 p.m., detectives from the Lake Havasu City Police Department’s Special Investigations Bureau, which is part of the Mohave Area General Narcotics Enforcement Team (MAGNET) with the assistance of the Street Crimes Unit, served a drug-related search warrant at a residence in the 1600 Block of Topaz Drive. The search warrant was a result of an on-going drug investigation. Detectives located and seized a small amount of methamphetamine, several syringes filled with suspected heroin, approximately 7.3 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, a counterfeit $100 bill, and numerous items of drug paraphernalia. Arrested during the search warrant were Lake Havasu City residents 33-year-old Anthony Guarnieri, 43-year-old Anthony Scavuzzo, 30-year-old Michael Miskowsky, 42-year-old Peter Amy, and 22-year-old Emma Williams. Anthony Guarnieri was arrested for possession of dangerous drugs, possession of narcotic drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, and forgery. Anthony Scavuzzo was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia. Michael Miskowsky was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of prescription only drugs. Peter Amy was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and destruction of evidence. Emma Williams was arrested for possession of narcotic drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. At their initial appearances, Guarnieri was held on a $30,000 bond. Williams was held on a $20,000 bond. Scavuzzo, Miskowsky, and Amy were each held on a $5,000 bond. They were all transferred to the custody of the Mohave County Sheriff’s Department.
