Mohave County Sheriff’s Personnel have selected five Deputy Sheriff Recruits to send through the WALETA (Western Arizona Law Enforcement Training Academy) in Lake Havasu City beginning January 26, 2015. These recruits were required to participate in a 2 day testing process, which included a written examination, a physical agility test and an interview before a three-member panel. The selected recruits will undergo 17 weeks of military structure law enforcement training that includes academics, physical agility exercises, and other various training. The next Deputy Sheriff Recruit testing process is scheduled for March 9–10, 2015; anyone interested should contact the MCSO at (928) 753-0753 or (800) 522-4312.
