130221-arrestMohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Musgegh Poghosyan, 54, of Hollywood, CA, early Monday (12/14) afternoon for forgery, a felony.  Approximately 12:16 p.m., deputies responded to the Love’s truck stop at 6035 Minerva Lane in reference to a fraud report. While enroute, deputies learned that a male subject attempted to make a purchase using a fraudulent credit card and he left traveling in a gold semi-truck with a white trailer. Shortly thereafter, deputies observed the described vehicle traveling westbound on Interstate 40 and exited at Andy Devine Avenue.  Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 3300 block of Andy Devine Avenue and contacted the driver identified as Poghosyan.  During conversations with Poghosyan, he said that he attempted to use a credit card at the Love’s truck stop which he had found earlier.  Further investigations determined that Poghosyan attempted to purchase $300 of gasoline with an American Express gift card but the account numbers on the card did not match what was returned on the computer.  Poghosyan was taken into custody without incident. He was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
