A brand new Walmart Supercenter opens for business in Fort Mohave Wednesday. 7:00 a.m. performances by the Fort Mojave Tribal Band and Bird Singers will set the stage for the grand opening event at 7:30 a.m.

The 155,000 square foot supercenter located at 5210 S. Highway 95 will provide about 300 full-and-part-time jobs. “Customers will also enjoy convenient on-site services such as a full pharmacy, a fuel station and convenience store, a Tire & Lube Express, and a free store pickup service providing an easy way to shop millions of products on Walmart.com,” a company news release said.

“We’re excited to be part of the Fort Mohave community and to bring convenience and everyday low prices on groceries and a wide assortment of merchandise to this area,” said Paul Perkins, store manager. “Local residents will now be able to get everything they need without driving to another town.”

The supercenter will be open 24 hours a day while the fuel station will operate from 5:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

The Walmart store located on Highway 95 in Bullhead City will remain open.
