fraudMohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Aarturo Lopez-Ahumada, 22, of Kingman, early Saturday (10/24) afternoon for taking identity of another, felony.  Approximately 12:50 p.m., deputies were dispatched to a convenience store in the 3000 block of Northern Avenue regarding a suspicious Hispanic male subject.  While enroute, dispatch advised the Hispanic male subject was last seen walking east on Northern Avenue wearing a white t-shirt and dark pants.  As deputies arrived in the area, they observed a male subject matching the description.  Deputies contacted the male subject identified as Lopez-Ahumada.  Lopez-Ahumada advised that he accidentally used his friend’s driver’s license at the store while he was trying to make a purchase.  Deputies determined that Lopez-Ahumada’s statements changed.  Deputies detained Lopez-Ahumada and responded to the convenience store.  Deputies contacted the employee and the employee identified Lopez-Ahumada.  The employee said that Lopez-Ahumada was attempting to purchase alcohol and cigarettes with a driver’s license of a male subject from Kentucky where the picture did not match.  Lopez-Ahumada was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail without incident
