Owriting a lettern behalf of the Clark County CAPE team, I would like to invite you to participate in a community discussion regarding the findings of a recent Clark County behavioral health survey. The University of Nevada Cooperative Extension will be hosting a meeting for professionals in the Laughlin area on Tuesday, September 23rd from 2:00-3:30 pm at the Regional Government Center located at 101 Civic Way, Laughlin, NV. The University of Nevada Cooperative Extension and University of Nevada School of Medicine collaborated with the Community Assessment and Education to Promote Behavioral Health Planning and Evaluation (CAPE) project to assess top behavioral health priorities and how leaders access and use information about such health issues. Visit the CAPE Community website and view the Nevada CAPE brochure for additional information. As a behavioral health professional and/or community leader serving Clark County, you are invited to attend this meeting to discuss what actions should follow these findings in order to address important behavioral health issues here in the Clark County community. Other community leaders and behavioral health representatives have also been invited to attend. I hope you too will consider joining us for a discussion on these important matters. If you would like to attend this community dialogue, please RSVP to Sara Velasquez at velasquezs@unce.unr.edu or 702.948.5918 by Friday, September 19th. Refreshments will be served, so a preliminary head count is appreciated. Please feel free to contact me with any questions at 702.257.5505. I look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,
Buddy Borden
