KRIVAK2 (1)A Fort Mohave mother faces aggravated DUI charges following a traffic accident Friday afternoon in Bullhead City. Neither Roxanne Erica Krivak, 32, nor her 5-year old son were injured in the accident, but because he was in the vehicle with her, Krivak has been charged with the felony. Krivak was eastbound on Hancock Road at around 2 p.m., Friday when neighbors in the area called police dispatchers to report a suspected DUI driver. When police arrived in the area, they found the pick-up which matched the description given by neighbors. By that time, the pick-up had jumped the curb and crashed into a fence in the 700 block of Hancock Rd. According to a Bullhead City police department spokesperson, the officer investigating the crash could smell alcohol on the driver and stated that she had red, bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. Krivak’s 5-year old son was in the back seat, uninjured in the accident. The boy was released to his father. Krivak was taken to the police station, where he blood alcohol level was measured at 0.30 percent, which is nearly four times the legal limit in Arizona, which is 0.08 percent. Because her son with in the pick-up truck while she was driving intoxicated, Krivak has been charged with Aggravated DUI, which is a felony. Additional charges are pending. She was booked into the Mohave County Jail in Kingman.  PHOTO COURTESY:  BULLHEAD CITY POLICE DEPARTMENT
