Mohave County Sheriff’s Waterway deputies arrested Gregg Paul Glausen, 63, of Key Largo, FL, Saturday (10/24) evening on an outstanding warrant. At about 8:16 p.m., deputies were patrolling Lake Havasu near the mouth of the bridge water channel and Crazy Horse Campgrounds. Deputies observed an unoccupied personal watercraft floating approximately 75 feet from shore. Upon further inspection, deputies observed the PWC was anchored. The PWC did not have any type of lights lit and the vessel was extremely difficult to see due to it being dark outside. As deputies were investigating the PWC, a male subject from the shoreline advised the PWC belonged to him. The male subject, later identified as Glausen took custody of his PWC and beached it on shore. A records check showed Glausen to have a fugitive from justice felony warrant issued out of Monroe County in Florida on original charge of failure to appear for leaving the scene of a vessel accident. Glausen was taken into custody without incident. He was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
