motorists continue to see savings at the pump as AAA-Arizona reports the lowest
prices in months, with a statewide average price of $2.33, less than a nickel
above the national average price of $2.29.

Autoclub spokeswoman Michelle Donati credits low crude oil prices,
healthy gas supplies and the coming switch to winter blend fuel for continued
declines and, barring any surprises, we could eventually see $2 dollar gas
statewide by the late fall or winter. Around the state, Donati says Flagstaff
drivers continue to pay the most at $2.65 per gallon while drivers in Tucson
are paying the least at $2.17.
