Everyone’s invited to Cattail Cove State Park for some fun and adventurous exercise at the “Geocache Desert Bash.” The 11th Annual event will take place on Saturday, March 11, 2017 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Bring your sense of adventure and treasure hunt to find geocache sites hidden throughout the park, about 15 miles south of Lake Havasu City.

The GPS coordinates will be given at the start of the event and Geo “crash” courses will be available for all levels. One of the courses has been designed especially for kayakers. If you don’t have your own GPS tracker, you are welcome to tag along with a guide.

Food and beverage vendors will also be there to keep your appetites full. Enter a drawing for a Garmin handheld GPS device if you complete one or more of the tours!

For more information, visit or call Cattail Cove State Park at (928) 855-1223. Mention you are at the park for the “Geocache Desert Bash” for $1 admission.

There is no charge for children 13 and younger who are accompanied by an adult.
