The co-pilot who allegedly downed the GermanWings Airliner over the French Alps has connections to Arizona.  The Lufthansa CEO announced co-pilot Andreas Lubitz had flight training in Goodyear, Arizona in 2008 at the ATCA or Airline Training Center Arizona. It takes about two years to earn your license to fly

an Airbus and over four months of the pilot’s training is in Goodyear.  French prosecutors say “Lubitz intentionally crashed Flight 9525 into the side of a mountain in France after locking the pilot out of the cockpit.”
