Giving Tuesday Donation Drive Is the Start of Something Special for the Pacific Dental Services® Foundation
Pacific Dental Services® to match $50,000 in donations for special needs clinic in Phoenix, Arizona
IRVINE, CALIF. November 13, 2018– The Pacific Dental Services® Foundation (PDS Foundation), a 501 (c)(3) charitable organization that creates opportunities to serve locally, nationally, and internationally through improving oral health care, begins its Giving Tuesday donation drive today. Giving Tuesday, a global day of giving for those in need, starts each year on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. This year, the PDS Foundation will celebrate Giving Tuesday from November 13th-November 27th by collecting donations for the PDS Foundation Dentists for Special Needs clinic.
The PDS Foundation Dentists for Special Needs clinic, located in Phoenix, AZ, will have 5 operatories and be fully sensory integrated. Staffed with specialists trained for individuals with special needs, the clinic will provide much needed access to care for children and adults with physical and intellectual disabilities. Specialized care is difficult to find for the special needs community, particularly in Arizona where 4.8% of individuals have cognitive disabilities. Both in Arizona and nationwide, access to specialized care, such as dentistry, is the number one healthcare problem of both children and adults with special needs. That’s why the PDS Foundation Dentists for Special Needs clinic will be such a valuable resource to the Phoenix community.
To donate during Giving Tuesday, visit the PDS Foundation’s donation page. 100% of donations will go straight to the clinic, and contributions are tax deductible. Pacific Dental Services, a dental support organization that provides business and administrative services for dental offices, will match up to $50,000 in donations. Larger gift recognition opportunities are also available by contacting email@example.com. To learn more about the PDS Foundation, visit pdsfoundation.org. Be part of something special this holiday season by donating today!
