Arizona Republican Governor Doug Ducey is reiterating his support for GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump, even as Trump vacillates between his staunchest hard-line deport-them-all anti-illegal immigration policy proposals put forward in Phoenix last week and “not ruling out” a pathway to legal status.

Ducey says Trump is much closer than democratic nominee Hillary Clinton is on “more important issues” like the next Supreme Court Justice, real change and respect for the military and law enforcers. Ducey says his support also extends to Republican Senator Jeff Flake, who Trump has recently called “weak” and “ineffective.”
