Governor Doug Ducey’s motto is “Arizona’s open for business.” And he says he’s taking that message to Israel as he leaves the state for the Middle East Tuesday. Speaking to the Phoenix Council on Foreign Relations Monday during his
address at the Arizona Biltmore, the Governor says he’s heading a delegation of “premier” Arizona leaders for water policy, business and economic development.
Ducey hailed Israel as “the global epicenter” for advanced innovations in water technology and security. A water conference in Tel Aviv is among stops on his trip. The governor also plans to tout Arizona tourism to the Israelis. He says, just last year alone, visitors to our state generated 21 billion dollars in tax revenue.
The Governor will be in Israel through mid October .
