Preliminary work is underway where Dot Foods will build a food redistribution warehouse facility in Bullhead City. A permit was issued and grading is taking place on the roughly 40-acre parcel just east of the tower at the Laughlin/Bullhead International Airport.
Bullhead City Manager Toby Cotter said a project engineer previously submitted plans for the 180,000 square foot facility the company plans to build on-site. Cotter said city officials have made comments and sent the plans back for revision.
Meanwhile, Mohave County Supervisor Hildy Angius said officials are planning an April 5th (3:00 p.m.) groundbreaking ceremony to welcome Dot Foods. She said Governor Doug Ducey plans to attend.
