Lake Havasu City’s top contract employees are in good standing with their employers, the Lake Havasu City Council. During it’s last meeting the council adopted a favorable finding of the performances of the city attorney, city magistrate and city manager.
Council directed staff to modify the employment agreements of the trio consistent with what had been discussed in executive session.
In Cassen’s case, the city manager said he’d be getting a four percent raise through the proposed amendment of his contract. Information regarding contract modifications for the magistrate and city attorney was not readily available, but will soon become public information, according to City Attorney Kelly Garry.
