A homeless man saves a three-year-old boy found wandering aimlessly around the streets of Glendale overnight.  Sergeant Scott Waite says the little boy, unable to speak English, walked up to a homeless man in the middle of the night lost and afraid when the man helped the toddler.  The transient walked with the toddler to an

all-night convenience store and asked the clerks to call police.  When police arrived, they found the child with the homeless man who explained the toddle had been walking the streets alone with no parents in sight.  The child is safe in the custody of the Department of Child Services.  Several hours after the toddler was found, a woman called police claiming her son was missing.  The woman is now being investigated by child welfare before the child is returned to her.
