A Phoenix homeowner shot and wounded at least one suspect during an attempted home invasion Monday morning. Police say up to three armed men broke into the home where they were met by an armed homeowner. He fired shots after they broke in,

with at least one of the suspects suffering non life threatening injuries. The suspects ran from the scene, but police were notified about a man seeking treatment for a gunshot wound at a nearby hospital. The other two suspects remained at large. No charges are pending against the homeowner.
