Two men have been arrested for shooting a horse multiple times outside of a home north of Phoenix.  Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio says 19-year old Dylan Gundry and 21-year-old Bryce Fleming were taken into custody after they admitted to using a rifle they had taken from a home in Rio Verde to shoot the

animal for no apparent reason.  Arpaio says the men shot a barrel horse worth 30-thousand dollars four times.  He says animal cruelty cases like this are always troubling.  Arpaio adds that “history” shows us when someone starts out shooting animals such as horses or dogs, “they graduate if you want to call it that to humans.”  The suspects confessed to shooting the animal and gave no reason as to why.  The horse was found bleeding to death and had to be euthanized.
