KINGMAN–Stacy Addy, Hospice Clinical Manager will speak at Kingman Regional Medical Center’s monthly Lunch & Learn on Wednesday, July 15 in the Del E. Webb Wellness Center Conference Rooms from 12 to 1 p.m.
The title of her presentation is: “KRMC Hospice: How it can help you.”
Hospice care entails medical services, emotional support, and spiritual resources for people who are in the last stages of a serious illness. Hospice care also helps family members manage the practical details and emotional challenges of caring for a dying loved one. The goal is to keep the patient comfortable and improve quality of life.
Addy started with the Joan and Diana Hospice Home as the Clinical Manager in February of this year. She graduated from South Dakota University in 2007 with a degree in nursing. Addy has an extensive background in palliative care and brings abundant experience and passion to KRMC’s Joan and Diana Hospice Home.
Lunch & Learn features a different medical professional each month, focusing on important healthcare topics. The seminars are free to the public. Participants bring their own lunch and KRMC provides a beverage and dessert.
There is no charge for the program, but seating is limited. The doors will open at 11:30 a.m. the day of the event. To ensure enough seating and desserts, please contact KRMC’s Public Relations at 681-8514 to make a reservation.
