The Mohave County Sheriff's office has issued sketch drawings in an ongoing effort to identify human remains that were located in northwest Arizona in late September. Advanced decomposition has hindered efforts to make positive identification and determine a cause of death in a case that is being investigated as a possible homicide.
The body of the African/American bi-racial female were located on September 28, off of U.S. 93, about 25 miles south of the Mike O'Callaghan-Pat Tillman memorial bridge that crosses far above the Colorado River, linking southern Nevada with northern Arizona.
The sheriff's office said the deceased is believed to be about 5' 7" tall, between 105-130 pounds with pierced ears and no visible tattoos. Dental records are being loaded into a national data base for attempted identification.
Anyone with information is asked to call (928-753-0753) the sheriff's office. The sketch renderings depict what the deceased might look like on both ends of the teenage spectrum.
