Authorities have released the names of the first eleven inmates indicted for unrest that occurred at the state prison in Golden Valley in July. The inmates ranging from 21-to-35 years of age are appearing at arraignment hearings today and tomorrow.
The range of charges include participating in a riot, criminal damage, destruction of a jail facility and aggravated assault. Four inmates are identically charged with rioting and four counts each of aggravated assault
The indicted prisoners are identified as Joe Jones, Mark Boyston, Hakeem Mckaney, Allen Fair, Thomas Lee, Damond Fowler, Daniel Council, Devon Davis, Bobby Hendrix, John Broussard and Michael Anderson.
