Car-Accident1Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a two vehicle injury accident that occurred on Diamond Bar Road at milepost 10, near Grand Canyon West, on Monday, June 15.

At about 4:45 p.m. deputies responded to the scene of where a motorcycle crossed the center line and hit head on with an unmarked police vehicle driven by Hualapai Tribal Chief of Police Francis Bradley.

The motorcycle was driven by Kenneth Fouts, 29, of Las Vegas, NV.

Fouts fell off the motorcycle and hit the driver side of the police vehicle sustaining serious injuries. Fouts was airlifted by Life flight to University Medical Center in Las Vegas where he is currently listed in good condition.

No one in the police vehicle was injured.

Investigations determined that Fouts was traveling east on Diamond Bar Road approximately 50 miles per hour in a 35 mph zone. Fouts was cited for speed too fast for condition to avoid a collision.

Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
