Arias could still face execution as the judge in her case rules that jurors can
still consider the death penalty in her second sentencing trial. 

Maricopa County Superior Court Judge Sherry Stevens
may have denied a motion from Arias’ legal team to dismiss the murder
conviction or take the death penalty off the table but professional court
watcher Beth Karas says that the argument is far from over because the defense
has laid firm ground for an appeal.  Karas
says the fact that porn was found on victim Travis Alexander’s computer is
information that the first jury should have had because it is mitigating
evidence about his sexual appetite and Arias’ claims of abuse but Stevens
likely ruled against the defense because they could not show that the
mishandling was anything more than a mistake
