Organizers expect more than 1,000 people will attend this weekend’s Kingman High School (KHS) “I survived the 70’s Reunion Part 2” festivities. Coordinator Curtis Cutshaw said nearly 800 people attended part 1 last year.
Cutshaw said the event targets KHS graduates of the decade of the 1970’s but is really open to everyone. Live rock and roll music and meal and beverage purchase opportunity kick off the Friday night fun at the Mohave County Fairgrounds.
A tour of the “old” but newly-renovated KHS campus (now Lee Williams High School) and the nearby Mohave Museum are offered Saturday. There will be more live music during a downtown block party Saturday night.
