A meeting involving City and Kingman Airport Authority (KAA) representatives that has been months in the making will finally take place Thursday afternoon. Questions and criticism of the KAA leads to the session that will focus on the history of the airport and industrial park as well as the structure, management and budget of the organization.
Bill Pupo will continue his role as a facilitator.
He said it’s important for meeting participants to attempt to understand everyone else’s position in pursuit of resolution of contentious issues.
Pupo said previous battles and personal politics should be set aside in search of what’s best for Kingman and its economic development future.
A noon luncheon kicks off an afternoon of discussion at KRMC’s Hualapai Mountain Campus. This could be the first of several joint meetings between the city and KAA.
