River Cities United Way is hosting the 5th annual “Quail Run” – a 5K Walk/Run and 1K Kids Run with proceeds benefiting the Kids Bright & Healthy program which helps under-insured and non-insured students enrolled in K-12 with medical, vision and dental care.
The fundraiser starts at 8 AM at the United Way/Mohave State Bank parking lot located at 2202 Hualapai Mountain Road in Kingman. The event is sponsored by White Cliffs Senior Living, Nucor Steel, Frontier Communications, Bulldog Recycling, and Unisource Energy Services. Registration is only $25 before October 30th, but it goes up to $30 between then and November 6th, and $35 if you register the day of the race.
Hand crafted awards will be available – Top overall Male and Female (5K), Top Master Male & Female (40+) and Top 3 in each of the 7 age brackets.
