Saturday, September 12th marks the 2nd Annual date of Kingman’s “Day of Caring” city-wide community clean up, which starts at 6 AM. This event is hosted by River Cities United Way, Kingman Clean City Commission and C.A.R.E. also known as Sandbox Beautification Committee.
Families, local businesses, civic clubs, churches and other groups are encouraged to get involved in our community by registering volunteer teams to help. Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints will be providing breakfast at the conclusion of the event.
More than just a community service project, it’s truly a win-win for you and your team. Benefits include giving back to your community, team building, and increased community awareness, networking, and seeing firsthand the impact United Way has on the quality of life in Kingman.
Anyone with questions should contact Event Coordinator Laura Hansen at (928) 753-6720 or by emailing Laura@RiverCitiesUnitedWay.org – Those interested in volunteering should register online at http://www.RiverCitiesUnitedWay.org
