go pinkKingman gets its pink on! October 12-18th is “Go Pink Week” in Kingman and citizens and businesses in the community will be dressed and decorated in pink in support of the fight against cancer. “We’re going to be seeing a lot of the businesses ‘pinking out’ everywhere,” Cheryl Smith told Kingman City Council members. “I think if you look around town you’ll start to see some ribbons and flags. One light bulb at a time, we’re turning the town pink.” City Human Resources Director Jackie Walker said everyone is invited to join in the cancer awareness week culminating community walk next Saturday. “We want everyone to come out October 18 and join us in this walk as we walk in celebration of people who have survived cancer as well as honor those people who have lost their battle to cancer.”
