Three Golden Valley residents are running for the two seats on the Kingman Unified School District board that are up for grabs in the November general election. They include Beth Weisser, who is also running for the state house, Kenneth Cates and Steve Robinson.
Robinson has selected the school arena over a re-election bid for his seat on the Golden Valley Fire District Board. Robinson had submitted petitions to run for Mohave County assessor, but he did not contest a formal challenge in June that alleged his petitions were short of the necessary number of valid signatures to qualify his candidacy.
The two KUSD board incumbents seeking re-election are Bruce Ricca and Laurie Barthlow.
