Mohave County Superior Court Judge Randolph Bartlett steps down from the bench for good today. Bartlett’s 37 year legal career ends with retirement once he finishes three hearings on his Friday calendar. Bartlett logged time as a prosecutor, defense attorney and in civil practice during a 21 year run before he ascended to the bench in October, 1988. Bartlett joins the retired Mohave County Superior Court Judge club that includes Gary Pope, Leonard “Bill” Langford, James Chavez, Robert Moon and Shelly Weisberg. Pro tem Commissioner Derek Carlisle succeeds Bartlett, transitioning from mostly a criminal caseload to one focused more in civil litigation.
