JSN - LAUGHLIN ACCIDENT (1)The Laughlin gaming market continues to show signs of strength. Gaming revenues in Laughlin were up 3.1 percent in November with the town’s 10 casinos reporting nearly $38.0 million for the month.  Analysts with the Nevada Gaming Control Board say the town’s showing is significant because it beats last year’s 12.8 percent jump from the same month in 2013. That means that November gaming revenues in Laughlin have increased from $32.7 million in 2013 to $38.0 million in 2015– a $5.3 million (16.2 percent) increase. For the fiscal year, Laughlin gaming revenues are up 3.0 percent with more than $187.7 million being reported by the casinos. During the same five months of 2014, Laughlin reported $182.3 million dollars in gaming revenues. Visitation in Laughlin was also up last month. The Las Vegas Convention and Visitor’s Authority estimates a 0.7 percent increase in total visitors last month.
