The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office Division of Boating Safety will be participating in a life jacket exchange in conjunction with the Arizona Game and Fish Department on Saturday May 20th, 2017. This event will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at London Bridge Beach located at 1340 N. McCulloch Boulevard near the stage in Lake Havasu City.

The Sheriff’s Office would like to invite anyone who may have a torn, worn, tattered, or otherwise unusable life jacket, to bring them to the event, and trade them in for new ones! But hurry, supplies are limited!

The program will not be accepting any of the orange Type II style life jackets for exchange.

Life jackets save lives everyday! They are required equipment on a watercraft!

Shortly after the exchange, pictures will be taken with as many people wearing their life jackets as possible. This will be to be part of a record setting event sponsored by the National Safe Boating Council to set a world record for the most life jacket worn at one time.

We look forward to your participation.
