The Lake Havasu City Aquatic Center will be holding a Lifeguard Certification class January 9 – 11. Class times will be Friday, January 9 from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m., Saturday, January 10 and Sunday, January 11 from8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Class will be held at the Lake Havasu City Aquatic Center located at 100 Park Avenue. Candidates must be at least 15 years of age prior to start of class. Curriculum includes training in prevention, surveillance, emergency care, aquatic rescues, professionalism and personal safety, and site specific considerations. This class will prepare candidates to become lifeguards. Class includes CPR certification as well as First Aid. Cost of class is $150 per participant and participant must attend all scheduled class days and times. Participants must bring their swim suit and towel to each class.
