Kingman City Council member Travis Lingenfelter wants to explore alternative financing for the Interstate 40 Kingman Crossing and Rancho Santa Fe interchange projects.

Lingenfelter noted during the June 6 Council meeting that Mohave County has successfully used alternative financing for capital projects and that the city should do the same.

Lingenfelter said he would like Council member Jamie Scott Stehly to join him on a committee to conduct a workshop on alternative financing. He said no date has yet been set but that he’s hoping for some time in July.
