A local judge residing in Bullhead City and a private practice lawyer who lives in Lake Havasu City remain in the hunt for possible appointment to two vacancies on the Division One Arizona Court of Appeals. The five nominees include Mohave County Superior Court judge Rick Williams and civil arena attorney Ken Moyer.
Williams and Moyer and the three other finalists were interviewed by members of the Governor’s staff on March 27. All five were to return to Phoenix for one on one interviews with Governor Doug Ducey on April 4 and 7.
The Governor has until April 21 to announce his appointment decisions.
