DOGBullhead City Animal Care and Welfare (ACW) officers are seeking a dog and its owner for standard quarantine procedures after a recent dog bite.

On Wednesday afternoon, a 56-year-old male victim reported he was sitting on the curb at the intersection of Hancock Road and Clearwater Drive when a dog ran up and bit his face. Another dog also ran up, but did not bite him.

The dog is described as being approximately 35-40 pounds and tan in color. The victim was unable to provide any further details. ACW officers searched the area but did not locate the dog/s.

The man was treated at a local hospital for a bite wound to his cheek and lip. If anyone has any information, please call the Bureau of Animal Care and Welfare at (928) 763-6000.
