The body of a local resident who went missing while swimming with family Monday was located Tuesday in the Colorado River in northwest Arizona. The victim is identified as Michael Galves, 20.
Fort Mojave Tribal police chief Sonny O’Hara said family members saw Galves slip under the water in the area of Circle Beach about 6:20 p.m. Monday. Divers recovered his body about two hundred yards down river at about 11:20 a.m. Tuesday.
