Man escapes car after it goes up in flames.  Captain Benjamin Santillan with Phoenix Fire says a bystander rescued a 40-year-old man that was trapped inside his burning car after he collided with another car in Phoenix.  when firefighters arrived on scene, the car was fully engulfed in flames and crews

rushed to knock the fire out and located the victim.  They soon discovered the victim had been pulled from the car.  The victim suffered serious burns to his hands and was transported to a burn unit in critical condition.  Meanwhile, the good Samaritan who saved the man from his burning car was no where to be found.  Plus, it turns out the second driver took off on foot after the accident.  Firefighters attempted to locate the driver, but were unsuccessful.  Santillan says the Phoenix Police Department is now investigating.  The cause of the crash is unknown.
