A man is shot in the head during a robbery and lives to tell the tale.  Sergeant James Holmes with Phoenix police says two suspects robbed a man of his backpack at dawn in Central Phoenix and shot him in the head when he tried to hold on to the bag.  Miraculously, the victim survived a bullet to the head.  Holmes

says it appears the bullet didn’t penetrate the skull. The suspects, described as a White man and a White woman, took off on bicycles after the shooting.  Police canvassed the area and the two got away.  Anyone with information is asked to call Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS.
