Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Eileen Gail Castle, 52, of Topock, Tuesday (1/27) afternoon for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, felonies. Approximately 2:10 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Camp Mohave Road and Sharp Drive. Deputies recognized the driver from prior contacts and knew the driver to have a suspended license. Deputies contacted Garry Hardy Knight, 44, of Topock. A records check confirmed his suspended license. Deputies contacted Castle, a passenger. A consent search of Castle’s purse revealed a glass pipe with burnt residue and a pill bottle containing marijuana. Deputies confirmed with Castle that she did not have a medical marijuana card. Castle was taken into custody without incident. An inventory search of the vehicle did not locate any illegal items. Knight was released at the scene after he was cited for driving with a suspended license, a misdemeanor. Castle was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
