mccThe Mineral Park mine north of Kingman will be the subject of separate considerations during Friday’s Mohave Community College Governing Board meeting. President Dr. Michael Kearns remains concerned about the potention $1.5-million impact to the college related to the effort to abate taxes on the property. Board members will also hear about college involvement in the effort to find new jobs and careers for the more than 380 people who’ve been laid off at Mineral Park. The governing board meeting on the Kingman campus begins at 9:00 a.m.
