Mohave Community College urges potential students to start the application process now. The federal financial aid process can take up to several weeks to complete, if all documentation is submitted properly. New and returning students who will not have their federal financial aid process completed by Jan. 10 should contact MCC to ensure a payment plan is arranged to avoid being dropped from classes. The current payment plan option does not require a tuition payment until February, which allows time for financial aid processing. There is a one-time $25 fee to enroll in the payment plan. Spring semester classes begin Jan. 20. For more information, contact MCC Connect at 866-664-2832 between 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. weekdays, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekends, and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 31 and Thursday, Jan. 1.
