On Wednesday, February 18th, 2015, Dr. Lyanna LaFredo will speak at Kingman Regional Medical Center’s monthly Lunch & Learn. Her topic is “What Everyone Needs to Know about the Measles.” Dr. LaFredo is a medical doctor specializing in pediatrics. She is an expert in providing preventive care and treating illness and injury in infants, children, and adolescents. Dr. LaFredo has practiced as a pediatrician in Kingman for the past five years. Prior to that, she practiced in Columbia, South Carolina. She is highly skilled in diagnosing and treating complex medical problems and in providing routine health maintenance and preventive care to children age 0 to 21. She has a special interest in the medical care of infants, beginning with prenatal consultations with expectant mothers. Her expertise also includes treating behavioral problems in children, including those with ADHD and Autism. Lunch & Learn features a different medical professional presenter each month, focusing on important healthcare topics. The seminars are open to the public and held in the Del E. Webb Wellness Center Conference Rooms from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. Participants bring their own lunch and KRMC provides a beverage and dessert. There is no charge for the program, but seating is limited.
